Town & Country Fires is a family run business based in Pickering established in 1977. Gaining a wealth of experience over the years and a combination of old and new techniques has led to the company developing and manufacturing some of the best energy efficient, solid fuel and wood-burning stoves in the world. Town & Country Fires are one of the few stove people who actually make the stoves from start to finish. They design and perfect the combustion in the stoves so that they outperform some of the very best stoves across the world. All Town & Country stoves have an air wash to the glass which works extremely well. Most have tertiary air at the rear of the firebox which burns off gases at the back of the fire causing less pollution and more efficiency. Two of the designs have been approved by DEFRA for burning wood in smoke control areas.
All the Town & Country stoves are HETAS approved and CE marked, all with a large size window to give a good view of the fire. Most are freestanding but there are also three designs of inset stoves.
